What Colchian stands for

A northern expedition for a rare and valuable prize.

“Colchian” — of Colchis, the fabled kingdom at the far edge of the ancient world, where the Golden Fleece was kept.

In the myth, the Fleece was won only by those willing to sail north, into hard country, and do the difficult work of reaching it. Our prize is the modern equivalent: clean, firm power supply and build-ready ground at the resource-rich edge of Europe — the scarce foundation the AI economy is now competing for.

The gold in our identity is the Fleece. We don't sell the map — we make the crossing, and we keep the ground.

Why here, why now

Demand is structural. The Nordics are where it can actually be powered responsibly.

Western European hubs are running short of power, land and permitting patience. The Nordics answer all three — clean firm electricity supplies, a cold climate, stable jurisdictions and communities that welcome industrial-scale investment.

Compute grows faster than it gets efficient

Even as compute and token prices fall, reasoning models and agentic workloads amplify total demand. Cheaper inference expands, not shrinks, the compute base, known as the Jevons paradox.

02 · Energy

Clean, firm and abundant

Sweden's grid is ~99% fossil-free, led by hydropower and in SE1 and SE2 it is 99% renewable.1 Combining firm hydro with wind power and BESS matches AI's flat, round-the-clock load far better than intermittent supply alone.

03 · Model

Own the crossing, keep the ground

Full-platform development through to energization and long-term ownership. Compute and hardware risk stays with the operator; the infrastructure is ours.
